Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, I always had a video camera in hand - filming anything I could imagine.
This passion became a pursuit when I had the opportunity to document the traditional Wataturu people of Tanzania. Adapting to a new way of life, my team and I lived amongst the community - telling a compelling story with a camera and natural light. We later continued the documentary series with features in India, Cambodia, and Honduras.
In order to develop an expertise in professional narrative lighting & camera work, I then continued my education at Florida State University, where I trained with Amy Vincent, ASC (Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan, Footloose). In 2015, I earned an MFA in Motion Picture Arts with a concentration in Cinematography.
For the past 10 years, I’ve been developing my skills and solving problems in narrative tv, features, & commercials, while based in Florida, New York, and currently, Los Angeles.
